On September 30, we hosted an update session at our Córdoba branch with Dr. María Laura Contartese, attended by more than 20 specialists, which focused on deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
Throughout the day, the discussion delved into early detection and the selection criteria for referral to surgery; clinical cases were analyzed, and a practical programming workshop was held, also providing a space to exchange experiences regarding the approach to DBS.
