NEPTUNE 5.5 MIS PLUS

The system NEPTUNE™ 5.5 MIS Plus is a solution of percutaneous fixation multilevel later with the increase of cement, it is designed to provide surgeons with the possibility of placing screws and rods percutaneous multiple levels without the need to perform a surgical exposure significantly.

This system comes with screws, cannulated that have fenestrations along the stem, which allows a dispersion selective of the cement in order to improve the fixation within the vertebral body. It is especially indicated for patients with tumors in advanced stage, who requires a greater stability in the bone conditions involved.

NEPTUNE™ 5.5 MIS Plus it is intended to provide immobilization and stabilization of the vertebral segments in the treatment of instabilities or deformities of acute and chronic diseases of the thoracic and lumbar spine, particularly in patients with bone quality diminished, such as those with osteoporosis, osteopenia, or metastatic disease.

This system provides internal support and temporary fixation during the process of consolidation of the fusion mass, the healing of a fracture, or as part of a reconstruction palliative in patients with tumors. The implants are made of a titanium alloy surgical-grade (Ti-6Al-4V), ensuring high strength and biocompatibility.
