On the 16th day of may we received in our offices Cordoba capital to more than twenty doctors, neurologists and neurosurgeons to discuss the latest developments and the challenges that it presents the therapy of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for the treatment of epilepsy.
The dissertation was in charge of Dr. Walter Silva, a neurologist specializing in Epilepsy.
Dr. Silva was for more than a decade as Chief of the Section of Epilepsy and Neurophysiology, pediatric, Italian Hospital of Buenos Aires, and is currently serving as the Head of Service of the Epilepsy and Unity of Video EEG in Fleni.
In addition to the conference of the speaker main, the neurosurgeon Adrián Muñoz and the neurologist Ariel Martinez presented cases that opened up an interesting dynamic of questions and a fruitful exchange on the subject.
