ACIF Blocked Interbody Cell (Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion)

The BLOCKED ACIF (Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion) GS BIO interbody cell was designed to correct mechanical deformation of the vertebral disc and restore the height of the intervertebral space. Its characteristic front area with a wedged profile favors insertion.
Its fixing screws (STAND ALONE Type) are fixed to the Titanium body with converging angles that, combined with its surface texture, prevent pull out.

The large volume of the cavity ensures the possibility of containing a large amount of bone filler, which favors the consolidation or arthrodesis. Likewise, their markers offer the possibility of position control using radiological images.

It is indicated for degenerative disc disease and other intervertebral disc disorders. The surgical set consists of dedicated instrumentation and multiple size options to ensure adaptation to each patient's anatomy. It is available in two material options: trabecular titanium and PEEK OPTIMA®. Both materials offer excellent biocompatibility.
