XLIF/OLIF interbody Cell (Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion)

The GS BIO XLIF/OLIF (Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion) Interbody Cell was designed to correct mechanical deformation of the vertebral disc and restore the height of the intervertebral space. The device has alternatives with lordosis and allows stability of the affected segment until obtaining a spinal arthrodesis or interbody fusion. The characteristic rounded tip profile of its front area facilitates placement and its surface texture prevents pull out and guarantees its fixation.

In addition, the design of its internal cavity gives you the ability to accommodate a large volume of bone filler, which favors the consolidation or arthrodesis. Likewise, their markers offer the possibility of position control using radiological images.

It is indicated for degenerative disc disease and other intervertebral disc disorders. The surgical set consists of dedicated instrumentation and multiple size options to ensure adaptation to each patient's anatomy. It is available in two material options: trabecular titanium and PEEK OPTIMA®. Both materials offer excellent biocompatibility.
